Carrots are not THAT good for your eyes

They aren't exactly bad for them either, but the idea that carrots are a superfood for the eyes is a myth drummed up by the British in WWII to conceal from the Germans the real reason why the Royal Air Force suddenly became so good at shooting in the dark.  It wasn't from eating their carrots, it was their top-secret radar system.
