The BBFI is symptoms screener and a self-assessment tool designed to quantify binocular vision related symptoms without attempting to make a diagnosis. As symptoms are selected, a gauge progressively increases, reflecting the overall burden and pattern of complaints. The tool is intentionally non-specific, but higher scores suggest a greater likelihood that an underlying binocular vision issue may be contributing to a person’s symptoms and that further evaluation may be warranted.
Burke Binocular Functional Index (BBFI)
Rate each item 0–10 based on how frequently you experience each symptom compared to people around you.
0 = about the same as most people you know, 10 = much more than most people you know.
This self‑screening tool is for informational use only and does not provide a diagnosis.
